And Your Random Activity Is…
Finishing Similes Activity
Description: Here's a great activity for children who need to work on word retrieval skills. The goal here is for the child to think of words that fit into different similes. The child doesn't have to understand similes to be able to do this. Just have her listen for the descriptor and then come up with a noun that fits that descriptor. For example, if you say "As sticky as a ____", they could say "sticker", "roll of tape", "bottle of glue", etc.

NOTICE!
Please note that this is intended for fun. I fully understand that picking a therapy activity at random and forcing all of your clients to do it would be a terrible idea. Don't do that. Instead, you can use this to get an idea of the types of materials that we have in our membership site and hopefully give you some ideas when you're feeling uninspired and burned out. Thanks! ~ Carrie Clark
