Building Sequences Activity
Description: This is a great sequencing activity for children who struggle to bring their thoughts together in a sequential manner. For this activity, you'll want to assemble pictures of steps to common activities. You can use our pre-made sequences by clicking the link below, or make your own! Mix up the steps to an activity and ask the child to put them back in order. You can cut apart the pictures and have the child physically move them, or you can use a worksheet like this to have the child number the steps. Once the steps are in order, have the child describe what's happening using temporal words like "first, next, then, last".
