Paperwork Bonfire Activity
Description: There’s nothing more cathartic at the end of a hard school year than burning all of your paperwork. Of course, you’ll need to make sure you’re not burning anything with personal health information on it. As far as I’m aware, HIPAA has yet to include “personal bonfire” as an approved method of disposing of protected documents. However, anything that doesn’t have identifying information is fair game! <INSERT LEGAL DISCLAIMER HERE ABOUT KEEPING RECORDS THAT YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO KEEP…BLAH BLAH BLAH> Just take those stress-inducing papers and throw them in a bonfire! Bonus points for roasting a few marshmallows over them and signing kumbaya.
